Cancellation/ Late Policy
24 hour advance notice is required when canceling an appointment. This allows the opportunity for someone else to schedule an appointment. If you are unable to give a reasonable time of advanced notice, you may be charged 50% for your missed appointment.
No-shows. Anyone who either forgets to or consciously chooses to forgo their appointment with no contact will be considered a “no-show”. They will be charged the full amount for their “missed” appointment and future service will be denied until payment is made.
Arriving late. Appointment times have been arranged specifically for you. If you arrive late, your session may be shortened in order to accommodate others whose appointments follow yours. Depending upon how late you arrive, I will then determine if there’s enough time remaining to start a treatment. Regardless of the length of a treatment actually given, you’ll be responsible for the “full” session; however, I will do our best to satisfy the scheduled time.
I also understand emergencies and illnesses do occur. If you have a fever, have been in the hospital, have been vomiting or diarrhea within 24 hours of your scheduled appointment or it begins a couple hours prior to your scheduled session, or your children are ill and need you at home, please cancel. Equally, if there’s bad weather, please do not drive or walk in it if you do not have to. Feel free to call and reschedule your appointment. There will be no charge for these types of cancellations.
